The outage map shows outages and estimated restoration times in RMLD territory. The map shows active outages -- both planned and unplanned (reported) -- and will note whether RMLD is still verifying the outage. The map will display an icon within the outage area for each outage. Clicking on the icon will display additional details about that outage including extent of outage, the start time of the outage, the number of customers affected, and if known, the cause of the outage and estimated restoration time. Please note that all restoration times are estimated. The RMLD team works to minimize any disruption, and many outage situations can be fluid, changing as situations progress.
No, you cannot report outages through this site. Please use the RMLD online form. ( https://www.rmld.com/home/webforms/report-outage) If, according to the map, your location is not part of a known power outage, please check that the main breaker on your electrical panel is not tripped before submitting an outage report. Please also check whether your smart meter displays a meter reading. If a reading is displayed, the meter is receiving power and there may be another issue causing your outage that is unrelated to RMLD. To report a downed power line or damaged electrical equipment call 781-942-6598 or 781-944-1340 immediately.
